Guru Nanak's
School Adventures

Once upon a time, in a cozy little village, there lived a little boy named Nanak. Nanak was just about as tall as a sunflower and had eyes that twinkled like the stars in the night sky.
Every day, Nanak loved to go for little walks outside his house. As he wandered, he met all sorts of people – big ones and small ones, ones with hats and ones with funny shoes. And whenever they spoke to Nanak, they couldn't believe their ears! Even though Nanak was just a little boy, he talked like the wisest owl in the forest. He would giggle and say, "God is here and there," pointing all around with his tiny fingers.
But you know what made Nanak even more special? He had a heart as big as the moon! Whenever he saw someone in need, he would rush to help them. If someone was hungry, Nanak would share his bread and butter, and if a friend came to play, Nanak would give them his toys with a smile.
Nanak didn't care much for fancy things or keeping everything to himself. No, he loved to share! One day, a kind old Sadhu needed a jug to drink from, and without a second thought, Nanak offered one from his mother's kitchen.
One day, Nanak's daddy, Mehta Kalu, decided it was time for Nanak to go to school. So, off Nanak went to meet Pandit Gopal, the village teacher. Pandit Gopal was a kind old man with a big white beard that wiggled when he laughed.
On a bright and sunny Sunday, Nanak started his first day of school. Mehta Kalu gave Pandit Gopal five shiny rupees as a special gift, and Nanak shared yummy sweets with all his new friends.
In school, they had funny wooden tablets with black letters on them. Pandit Gopal would write letters and numbers with chalk, and the children would repeat them with lots of giggles and wiggles.
But you know what was so special about Nanak? He was as clever as a little fox! When Pandit Gopal wrote the alphabet, Nanak read it like he'd known it forever. And when it came to numbers, Nanak counted them faster than a hopping bunny!
One day, Pandit Gopal taught Nanak how to put letters together to make words. Nanak wrote a special word – "H." When Pandit Gopal asked what "H" was, Nanak said, "H is for He, our Lord who made us all. H is for humility too, being kind and helpful to others."
Pandit Gopal was amazed by Nanak's wisdom. He saw that Nanak wasn't just a little boy; he was like a wise old owl in a young boy's body!
Nanak kept learning and writing beautiful words that talked about love and kindness. When Pandit Gopal read Nanak's words, his heart felt warm and fuzzy, and he knew that Nanak was a special gift from above.
And so, Nanak's days in school were full of laughter and learning, with each lesson bringing him closer to understanding the beauty of the world and the love of the One who created it all.
The end.
